| When staying in Jackson, NH region, one early morning for a day on the ski slopes,
captured the "Honeymoon" Bridge, which crosses the Ellis River, for a wonderful winter painting
of N. E. This piece was chosen by Mithrus Law Group, U.S. and U.K. Immigration-International Business
Services, for their 2008 Holiday Greeting Card.

| Through many foggy, misty days of winter, White Pine don't struggle against stormy weather.
Rather, they turn an amazing blue-green color which contrasts with the snow, while sometimes are partially concealed
by it.

ruins of famine cottages; voices of those who just left; those who were starving and sick; those who eventually died.

| While waitng for a train out of Boston, I sketched people on the street. A young man
trying to keep dry on a wet, dark afternoon caught my eye. In my studio later, I painted him.

| At the beginning or end of an island day, when there is inactivity, the waters are calmer, and the sky is clear, there is nothing like the feeling of being on top of the world. |

| This was the ideal spot to paint on location. The way the late day sun played on the side of the house and pond, pinks and purples of the Loosestrife, and the varying summer greens of the trees made for a pleasant painting time. |

| Capturing the almost full bloom of the variaty of Lupine colors, from off white to deep red stalks with all the colors in between, is something everyone has to see for themselves to accurately describe. |

| Using the phrase "leap of faith" the artist let imagination take over with a dancing figure skipping over a natural leaf which created "Leaf of Faith", a one-of-a-kind, original art, monoprint print as it comes out of the press. |

| While living in Maine, I owned and managed an antique shop which I loved doing. The enjoyment and appreciation received from unique old houses and objects, continues in my art. |
